Vermont Judiciary Transitioning from Webex to Zoom for Remote Hearings

The Vermont Judiciary will be transitioning from Webex to Zoom as its platform for remote and hybrid hearings in the coming months. This change is part of the Judiciary’s ongoing efforts to enhance the virtual hearing experience for court users, staff, and judges. Zoom offers updated features and improved accessibility options, helping ensure that remote participation in court proceedings is efficient, secure, and user-friendly.

During the transition period, some hearings may continue to be held on Webex while others move to Zoom. Court participants should carefully review their hearing notices for specific instructions about how to join their proceeding. The Judiciary will provide additional information and resources in the weeks ahead to help users prepare for the switch to Zoom, including updated guides and training materials.
