Franklin Jury Reporting Information

PLEASE NOTE - THERE MAY BE MULTIPLE MESSAGES BELOW FOR BOTH FRANKLIN CRIMINAL COURT (Lake Street)  AND FRANKLIN CIVIL COURT (Church Street)

PLEASE BE PREPARED TO BE IN ATTENDANCE BETWEEN 8AM AND 4:30PM.  IF THE JURY DRAWING IS FINISHED EARLIER, THEN JURORS WILL BE RELEASED AT THAT TIME.

PLEASE LEAVE VAPES, LIGHTERS, POCKET KNIVES IN YOUR VEHICLES.

JURORS SUMMONED FOR THE FRANKLIN CRIMINAL  May 5, 2026 JURY DRAWING WILL NEED TO REPORT AS FOLLOWS:

Jurors with the last name beginning with the letter A thru L will need to report at 7:45 AM. 

Jurors with the last name beginning with the letter M thru S will need to report at 8:00 AM. 

Jurors with the last name beginning with the letter T thru Z will need to report at 8:15 AM.

If you  park in the parking garage or at a park mobile parking spot - please provide your license plate number, to obtain free parking.

Jurors will use the side entrance on Jury Trial Day.  (Marked - Jury Receiving)

PLEASE CHECK THE JURY PHONE LINE OR WEBSITE BEFORE REPORTING, AS THERE MAY BE CHANGES.  YOU CAN ALSO CALL 802-524-7993 AND ASK FOR Ashley or Gina (between 8am and 4:30pm)

There is plenty of parking spaces available in the Parking Garage (across from the Courthouse) or at a Park Mobile parking spot you will need to provide the Court with your License Plate Number.

If you park in a two-hour parking spot and receive a ticket, the fees will be at your own expense.   

Please do not park in the parking lot directly behind the Court House where it says Courthouse parking - that is permit parking only.

Please do not park in any parking area that says "Private Parking, Permit Parking Only". You may be ticketed or towed.  The expense will not be covered by the Court.

CRIMINAL COURT PARKING INFORMATION:  36 LAKE STREET, St. ALBANS VT

THERE IS LIMITED FREE PARKING SPOTS ALONGSIDE AND DIRECTLY BEHIND (BY THE BACK DOOR) THE COURTHOUSE BUILDING.  PARK MOBILE PARKING IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE LOT NEXT TO THE COURTHOUSE AND IN THE PARKING GARAGE. YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THE COURT WITH YOUR LICENSE PLATE NUMBER IF YOU PARK IN THE GARAGE OR IN PARKING SPOT WITH A PARK MOBILE SIGN.  IF YOU DO NOT, THEN THE PARKING FEES WILL BE AT YOUR EXPENSE.  

PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT THE METERS IN THE PARKING LOT THAT IS MARKED PRIVATE PARKING, YOU WILL BE TICKETED AND POSSIBLY TOWED. THIS IS AN EXPENSE THAT WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED BY THE COURT.

THERE IS ADDITIONAL PARKING AT THE FOOD CITY GROCERY STORE ON LAKE STREET, BEHIND THE CITY HALL BUILDING ON NORTH MAIN STREET.

YOU WILL ENTER THE COURTHOUSE THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE - (FRONT DOORS FACING LAKE STREET).

PLEASE CALL THE JURY PHONE LINE THE NIGHT BEFORE THE JURY DRAWING AND IN THE MORNING BEFORE YOU LEAVE TO GO TO THE COURTHOUSE, TO CONFIRM THE SCHEDULED DRAW AND TO CHECK FOR ANY UPDATES AND/OR CHANGES.  802-527-4016

CIVIL COURT PARKING INFORMATION FOR JURY DRAWING/ORIENTATION DAY:  17 CHURCH STREET, ST. ALBANS, VT

THERE IS LIMITED PARKING BEHIND THE COURTHOUSE ON 17 CHURCH STREET (UP THE DRIVEWAY - TOWARDS THE RIGHT AND TO THE BACK ALONG THE WHITE FENCE.

YOU CAN ALSO PARK ON CHURCH STREET IN FRONT OF THE COURTHOUSE, ON THE SIDE STREETS OR IN THE PARKING GARAGE 

PLEASE -  DO NOT PARK IN THE DAYCARE PARKING LOT (UP THE DRIVEWAY AND TO THE LEFT) - YOU WILL BE TICKETED AND POSSIBLY TOWED.

PLEASE -  DO NOT PARK IN THE SPOTS THAT HAVE A SIGN DESIGNATED FOR COURT STAFF, THE OFFICER WILL HAVE YOU MOVE YOUR VEHICLE.

CIVIL COURT PARKING INFORMATION FOR TRIAL DAY:  17 CHURCH STREET, ST. ALBANS VT

PLEASE PARK IN THE UPPER PARKING AREA -  GO UP THE DRIVEWAY -HEAD TO THE RIGHT AND THEN SWING LEFT AND PARK ALONG THE WHITE FENCE (BEHIND THE SHED)  PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE CHURCH PARKING AREA (ON THE LEFT COMING UP THE DRIVEWAY).
