The Orleans County Courthouse at 247 Main Street in Newport is temporarily closed to the public. Court assistance and forms are available at the Orleans Criminal Courthouse located next door at 217 Main Street. All hearings will be held in person at 217 Main Street unless you are notified otherwise.

The Access and Resource Center (ARC) is an office of the courts offering these free services for people who don't have an attorney:

Free interpreter services are available. Staff do not provide legal advice.

Staff are available to take calls and respond to emails Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Closed court holidays.
In-person support at the Costello Courthouse at 32 Cherry Street in Burlington is available by appointment. Please email or call staff to set up an appointment.
