The Orleans County Courthouse at 247 Main Street in Newport is temporarily closed to the public. Court assistance and forms are available at the Orleans Criminal Courthouse located next door at 217 Main Street. All hearings will be held in person at 217 Main Street unless you are notified otherwise.

Windham Superior Court in Brattleboro to Begin Renovations September 3rd

The Windham Superior Court in Brattleboro will begin renovations on September 3, 2024. These renovations are expected to last approximately one year. During this renovation, due to construction, hearings may be moved to a different courtroom within the building or to Newfane. There may also be a need at times to switch from in-person to remote. If this happens parties will be notified as soon as possible. Please excuse our appearance during renovations and thank you for patience. We look forward to seeing the end result.
