Biography:

Hello, I’m Jessica Greene. Thank you for clicking on my bio.

I am a facilitative mediator. This means that I practice and teach active listening skills, to help people hear one another better and communicate more effectively. I provide compassionate, confidential, neutral mediation for challenging conversations.

In conflict, we each have a unique side of the story. If a conflict rises to the level of needing mediation, then there is an important story there. Each person’s story deserves to be heard and understood. The topics that bring you to mediation are important. I want to understand where you are coming from.

Ongoing conflict can add stress and difficulty to our lives and can get in the way of our happiness and well-being. Mediation is a way to put conflict in the past.

We’ll work well together if....

...you are curious about your conflict
...you want to change communication habits that get you into conflict
...you want to learn to deescalate your emotions when you feel upset
...you want to improve your relationship with your co-parent
...you want to put your children’s needs at the forefront

I specialize in divorce & family mediation. I assist separated and divorced parents in improving co-parenting communication. It can sometimes be difficult to collaborate with the partner who you separated or divorced from. I am here to support folks who are ready to show up and do some hard work, with their children’s best interests in mind. My work is child centered and trauma informed. I treat all parties with respect and care. Within the hardest conflicts, sometimes valuable insights can be discovered. In mediation, you have the opportunity to gain conflict resolution skills and strengthen relationships.

I offer in-person mediation services in Windham County. If a remote option is needed for clients from other counties, mediation sessions can be conducted via Zoom.

If you would like to chat with me and see if working together would feel like a good fit, please email me at jgreene.mediation@gmail.com or call 802.258.8723.

I look forward to hearing what you will bring to the table!
